For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

"Affiliate" implies an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party, where "control" suggests ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest, or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.

"Country" refers to New South Wales, Australia.

"Course" defines any class, masterclass, or workshop conducted by LAT Academy.

"Company" (also referred to as "We", "Us" or "Our") represents LAT Academy

"Device" refers to any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, a mobile phone, or a digital tablet.

"Law Admission Test" or "LAT" denotes the test conducted by Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) for admission into the University of New South Wales Undergraduate Law Degree programs.

"Service" refers to the Website and/or any course offered by LAT Academy.

"Terms and Conditions" (also referred to as "Terms") describe these Terms and Conditions that form the agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.

"Third-party Social Media Service" suggests any services or content (including data, information, products, or services) provided by a third-party that may be displayed, included, or made available by the Service.

"Website" denotes LAT Academy, accessible from https://www.latacademy.com.au/

"You" implies the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Intellectual Property Rights

The Company owns all Intellectual Property rights in the material in our Courses or Services, unless otherwise referenced. Nothing in these Terms transfers or licenses any of those rights to you. You are not permitted to copy, print, upload, distribute, sell, or otherwise disseminate any information, including any printed or soft copy of course material that is acquired by You in any course run by Us.

No Guarantee of Entry Disclaimer

Participation in any course or part of a course run by LAT Academy does not guarantee a high Law Admission Test score or entry into any program or degree at the University of New South Wales or any other university. LAT Academy disclaims any representation or warranty to that effect.

"AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and defects, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company, on its own behalf and on behalf of its Affiliates and its and their respective licensors and service providers, expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to the Service. This includes all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and warranties that may arise out of course of dealing, course of performance, usage, or trade practice.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, for business interruption, for personal injury, loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, third-party software and/or third-party hardware used with the Service, or otherwise in connection with any provision of this Terms), even if the Company or any supplier has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Changes to Program Structure

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, at any time, to modify or replace a part of, or all of any course run by LAT Academy, including but not limited to the Premium Masterclass. This includes any program structure that may be advertised to the public on Our website or in any other form of marketing material.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.

Photography and Videography Consent

By enrolling in any Course offered by LAT Academy, You acknowledge and agree that the Company may capture photographs and videos during online classes for marketing purposes or other lawful uses. These photographs and videos may feature participants, including students and instructors.

Purpose: The photographs and videos may be used in LAT Academy's marketing materials, including but not limited to social media posts, promotional videos, emails, and website content.
Consent: By enrolling in any Course with LAT Academy, You consent, and if applicable, You confirm that You have the consent of Your child’s parent or guardian, to the use of Your or Your child’s likeness, voice, or appearance in any such photographs or videos.
Opt-Out Option: If You do not wish to have You or Your child's photograph or video used, You must inform LAT Academy in writing via email at enquiries@latacademy.com.au before the start of the Course. LAT Academy will make reasonable efforts to ensure that You or Your child are not included in any such media.
Rights and Ownership: All photographs and videos taken by LAT Academy remain the exclusive property of the Company. You waive any rights to royalties or compensation arising from such use

Governing Law

These Terms and Your use of the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New South Wales, Australia for resolution of any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and/or your use of the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Except as provided herein, the failure to exercise a right or to require performance of an obligation under these Terms shall not affect a party's ability to exercise such right or require such performance at any time thereafter nor shall the waiver of a breach constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

Mobile Terms of Service

The LAT Academy mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by LAT Academy (“LAT Academy”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to LAT Academy’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of LAT Academy through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with LAT Academy. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to LATAcademy or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other LAT Academy mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
